Our Story

Li’ili’i Donuts began as a donut experiment in the winter of 2018 when owners Travis & Erika began a gluten-free diet. They spent the winter testing new donut recipes every Sunday with their two young children. In the spring of 2019, they joined their local farmers market.

While 2020 brought uncertainty and closed markets, Travis & Erika used that time to refine their recipes and experiment with new flavors and toppings. When farmers markets reopened in late 2020, Li’ili’i Donuts was operating at 3 farmers markets each week. As social gatherings made a return over the next year or so, Li’ili’i Donuts grew to cater weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, and pop-up events.

The spring of 2022 brought a unique opportunity to take over the cafe inside of The Collective, and Li’ili’i Cafe was born. Featuring the classic tiny donuts, with an expanded savory menu (all gluten-free + vegan!), and signature coffee, chai, and nut milks. The cafe ran from May 2022 to December 2022.

Li’ili’i Cafe is currently continuing to pop up at farmers markets, and to cater for special events.

Li’ili’i means “tiny” - and we believe that sometimes life is all about the small stuff.
